As a response to the COVID-19 (novel Coronavirus) pandemic, Hunger Free America needs your help creating the most current database of food resources and assistance in this rapidly changing environment.

Crisis Text Line is the free, 24/7 text line for people in crisis in the United States. The service is powered by volunteer Crisis Counselors who work remotely—anywhere with a computer and secure internet connection works.

Over the last year, the organization has been working to build contact lists in Chelsea, East Harlem, and Bushwick. Their goal is to contact each family on that list once every 7 days so that they can continue to understand the ways that the organization can best serve.
