Opportunities will range from virtual outreach and education, text and phone banking, and Census application assistance and should fit a range of schedules. Volunteers will be given appropriate training.

COVID-19 Food Assistance Project

As a response to the COVID-19 (novel Coronavirus) pandemic, Hunger Free America needs your help creating the most current database of food resources and assistance in this rapidly changing environment.

Food Bank of NYC

Support Food Bank NYC's COVID-19 response virtually by helping with writing cards, setting up online fundraisers, or sending in donations.

Help with COVID

Help out different remote COVID-19 related projects that include E-learning, virtual tutoring, website re-designing, virtual career fairs, and many others.

Crisis Counselor

Crisis Text Line is the free, 24/7 text line for people in crisis in the United States. The service is powered by volunteer Crisis Counselors who work remotely—anywhere with a computer and secure internet connection works.

Points of light

Points of Light organization has compiled a list of several virtual volunteering opportunities that you can do while comfortably practicing social distancing. 

Dream Center NYC

Over the last year, the organization has been working to build contact lists in Chelsea, East Harlem, and Bushwick. Their goal is to contact each family on that list once every 7 days so that they can continue to understand the ways that the organization can best serve.
